The Personal Page of Charles "Chuck" Bramble Jr As Of September 8th, 2008

Hello. Welcome to my personal page. I'm making this so that you people will know a little bit about this guy who lives in this little corner of Southeast Kentucky that some people call Middlesboro.

Ok first let's start with some basic information. As you can read my real name is Charles Paul Bramble Jr . But I've gone by Chuck or Chucky for all of my life for the most part. I allow only a very select few to call me Charles. Why ? Because it just seems right coming out of their mouths.

I was born on Scott AFB (that's Air Force Base) in Illinois. Just outside of St. Louis in a little town called Belleville. On May 31st in 1972 two things happened in my family. One, my oldest brother graduated from High School. Two, I came into this world.

I'm the baby (for the lack of a better term) of a multi-child marriage. My Father, Charles Sr., had two girls before me from a different marriage. My Mother, Anna, had three other boys and a girl before me.

We moved around some before learning of my grandmothers' (my dads mother) death. So we wound up moving here to help take care of my grandpa (my dads dad). After my grandpa died in 1981 we thought about moving. But we stuck around, and we've been stuck here every since.

I graduated Middlesboro High School in 1990 and I guess I've always been a bit of a computer geek ! My brother-in-law first turned me onto a little computer system called a ATARI. God am I dated or what ? *LOL*

Then in like 1984 or something I saw a real computer, a Commodore 64 ! Two years later on my birthday I got one of my own ! I can't tell you the number of hours I spent on that damn thing ! I think in 1994 I got a little bit of an upgrade, to a Commodore 128. I used that for a while until finally got the gumption to go ahead and get a good computer of my own. On October 1st of 1997 my Gateway 2000 arrived. A couple of months later I got hooked up to the "Net" and I've been hooked every since.

I enrolled at South East Community College in the spring of 1991 and during the spring of 1995 I graduated with a Associates Degree in MIS (Management Information Systems) which is sort of a computer programmers assistant. I was also 6 hours away from gaining a second degree in Business Management. Why didn't I get that right then ? Molah, Money, Denerio. I had none.

So I fooled around and worked as a substitute teacher for the Middlesboro School System for a few years. And then in the fall of 1996 I enrolled at Lincoln Memorial University and I attempted to get a degree in Physical Education. After a semester of that I knew I was not cut out to be a Phys. Ed. teacher. So I changed to Business Education.

I switched again, this time to Computer Science. I graduated in December of 2000. I obtained a Bachelors of Arts in Business with a minor in Computer science and a minor in Athletic Coaching. Unfortunately for me, the job market around here is not very good.

I've been an assistant with the sports teams for a while now. In 1991 I joined the Chain Gang for the Varsity football games. Then at the end of the season in 1994 I was asked to join Coach Tim Millett and the MHS Boys Basketball team, as sort of a manager. I was made a "coach" the next season. Equipment coach that is. I started with the baseball team in 1993 and I've been doing the book for Coach Powell and the baseball Jackets along with the scoreboard and the music at home games until a few years ago when I quit to become a full time umpire. I still help out Coach Powell and the rest of the sports teams from time to time. I quit in March 2001 substitute teaching. It's not the job for everyone, and I discovered after I really bad day, that it wasn't for me anymore.

A little after the events of September 11th, 2001, I started to go to Church at Faith Temple. My best friend Scott Blondell invited me up, and when I started going, I felt comfortable. It was the first church I felt comfortable going to, and I've been going every since. No It wasn't the events of September 11th that drew me to church, but it was the Lord himself. I guess he felt that I was finally ready to start worshiping him in the corporate format.

Guys have you ever felt like you're just a little puppy dog on a leash and your girl that you like is just leading you down the path to the vets to put you to sleep ? Well that's sorta of the way I feel about this Girl that I liked. I really liked her but was never given a chance. I wrote about this in a poem that you can read here Broken Hearted. A little while later I wrote version 2 of Broken Hearted, basically same story, different girl. Maybe I'll add that poem someday.

UPDATE September 4th, 2008
OK, now for the new update. I got married, that lasted little over three years. I'm now divorced and living back at my mothers house with my beautiful baby girl named Zoiey Elizabeth. Zo-Zo was definitely the best thing to come out of my marriage. But oh well, you live and you learn I guess.

Ok now for the main finally, my ugly picture. Warning: I am not responsible for any damage that occurs while viewing this page and my picture! If I have left something out that you would like to know, please feel free to ask. But I do reserve the right to decline to answer.

Well that's it for now. Thanks for visiting my little neck of the woods and feel free to come back again. If you didn't sign the guest book, please go back and do so. Thank you, take care, God bless you, and GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!
